SUNDAY SCRAMBLE

SUNDAY SCRAMBLE

1926 Vauxhall 14/40/30-98  'Rowley Special', for sale from Robert Glover Ltd.

he last Sunday Scramble of 2018 was held at the iconic Bicester Heritage (ex-RAF Bicester) site on October 7.

Under clear skies, as opposed to the rain of the previous day, a large crowd turned out to wander around the historic site, admire the astonishing variety of classic and modern cars on display, and chat to the companies based on site who had thrown open their doors for the day.

As well as the eclectic mix of vehicles parked on the roads of the site, there was also a large number of car clubs arranged on the grass areas fronting the airfield.

Dick Lovett took over one of the airfield's enormous hangars to display a host of their 'Cylinder Club' customers' Porsches and Ferraris, and to also announce Porsche Classic Life.

Based in the restored WW2 Fire Station at Bicester Heritage, Porsche Classic Life is a centre for buying and selling classic Porsches, as well as parts, servicing and repairs.
