1975 RAC RALLY OF GREAT BRITAIN

Digging through the archives I re-discovered a file of B&W negatives taken during the 1975 running of the Lombard RAC Rally of Great Britain. Following the rally around in an Opel Commodore press-badged barge were myself (Peter Osborne) and Mike Black - who was then working for AC Delco, a sponsor of the Dealer Team Opel entry, and was later involved in the Unipart Ensign F1 sponsorship.

My memory of this event is sketchy - apart from being the coldest I can remember in the middle of Keilder Forest at some ungodly hour - so I'm unsure as to which of us took which photos. Understandably concentrating on the Tony Pond / David Richards' Opel, there are also other cars illustrating the wide spread of entrants, from Datsuns to SAABs, in the rallying scene of the 1970s.
